PRODUCT OVERVIEW

The ElectroDrive Variable Speed Drive (VSD) range delivers precise motor control, improved energy efficiency and reliable operation across demanding industrial applications. Spanning 0.4 kW to 560 kW (up to 630 kW on light-duty, variable-torque loads).

 

Every drive in the range offers vector control, a built-in C3 EMC filter, Modbus RTU communication, PID and a built-in PLC — with self-diagnosis and high starting torque as standard.

 

Below the shared range specs, three sub-sections cover the specialist drives: the ES580 with integrated AquaLogic multi-pump control, the IP55 VFD510 for harsh environments, and the ES355PV / ES560PV solar pumping inverters.

ES580 AquaLogic - Integrated Multi-Pump Control

 

The ES580 is available with factory-installed AquaLogic, which turns the drive itself into a complete multi-pump controller — no separate PLC or dedicated pump controller required. It runs up to 8 variable-speed pumps in lead-lag (multi-follower) or cascading-PID (multi-master) architectures, and can also control up to 5 grid-connected DOL pumps via a single VSD in relay mode.

  • Built-in PID pressure control (0–200 bar / psi selectable) with configurable setpoint, feedback and bandwidth

  • Sleep / wake on demand for energy saving at low flow

  • Dry-run protection (torque-curve and fixed-torque methods)

  • Leak and pipe-burst detection (sudden-drop and sustained-low-pressure)

  • Fire Mode; run-to-fail operation for life-safety pump duties

  • Auto-rotation and per-pump runtime logging for even wear across the pump set

Electrodrive VFD510 - High-Protection IP55 Variable Speed Drive

 

The VFD510 is a specialised IP55 variable speed drive built for environments where dust, moisture and contaminants are present. With Safe Torque Off (STO) functional safety, dual motor support (induction and PMSM) and comprehensive encoder interfaces, it is at home in mining, chemical processing, water treatment, food and beverage, and outdoor installations.

Because the enclosure is sealed to IP55 as standard, the VFD510 can be wall-mounted in the field without a separate protective cabinet — reducing installation cost and footprint on demanding sites.

Solar pumping (ES355PV + ES560PV)

 

Electrodrive solar pumping inverters drive standard three-phase pump motors directly from solar power, using built-in maximum power point tracking (MPPT) to keep the PV array at its optimum operating point. Two models cover the range: the ES355PV for smaller off-grid duties, and the ES560PV for large-scale agricultural, municipal and bulk-water pumping.

ES355PV - Solar Pumping Inverter (0.4–4 kW)

 

The ES355PV drives standard pumps directly from solar power in the 0.4–4 kW range. Its hybrid input accepts both DC from a PV array and AC from the grid or a generator, switching automatically so pumping continues when sunlight drops. Built-in MPPT keeps the array at its optimum operating point, tracking with up to 99.5% efficiency to squeeze the most water out of every hour of sun.

Applications

Off-grid boreholes, agricultural irrigation, livestock watering, and remote sites without reliable grid power.

ES560PV - Solar Pumping Inverter (4–132 kW)

 

The ES560PV extends solar pumping to large-scale installations from 4 kW to 132 kW. Its dual-voltage design accepts 400 or 800 VDC PV input (plus a 380 VAC class), allowing bigger arrays and longer cable runs for high-volume water delivery. MPPT tracking maximises daily yield for agricultural, municipal and bulk-water duties.

Applications

Large agricultural irrigation, municipal and bulk-water supply, and solar-assisted mine dewatering.
