Permanent Magnet Motors are the latest in electric motor design offering the client a highly efficient motor operating at synchronous speed with the ability to allow the same power output in a smaller frame size.

The motors are constructed of either aluminium or cast iron exterior with a permanent magnet rotor core resulting in a zero slip% synchronous motor.

Permanent magnet motors can reduce all kinds of losses as the motor efficiency is higher. The rotor magnetic field is generated by the permanent magnet (eliminating rotor copper loss), reducing the stator side current to have lower stator copper consumption, less iron core materials and lower iron consumption, less stray and wind friction losses. PMM motors have a wide efficient operation range  especially under the output of low speed and low torque (such as fan or pump load), which can still achieve high efficiency operation in frequency conversion applications.
