Class H.png

Built to Handle the Heat.

Electric motors work hard, and heat is the biggest factors affecting motor life. Class H insulation provides a higher thermal tolerance than conventional motor insulation systems, helping the motor operate reliably under demanding conditions.

Class F H Therm.png

Why It Matters:

A cooler, better-protected motor is a more reliable motor. By using insulation capable of handling higher thermal loads, businesses benefit from greater operational confidence and reduced risk of unexpected failures.

Longer Motor Life

Heat is one of the leading causes of insulation breakdown. Higher thermal resistance helps extend the life of the winding system, allowing the motor to perform reliably for longer.

Reduced Downtime

Unexpected motor failures can halt production and lead to expensive repairs. Better insulation reduces the risk of heat-related failures, keeping operations running.

Greater Reliability

Demanding environments require equipment that continues performing under pressure. Class H insulation provides additional protection during overloads, frequent starts and high ambient temperatures.

Lower Lifetime Costs

Longer service intervals, fewer failures and reduced maintenance contribute to a lower total cost of ownership throughout the motor's lifespan.

Not sure which Efficiency Class is for you?

Electric motors are responsible for a significant portion of industrial electricity consumption. Choosing the right efficiency class can reduce operating costs, lower energy consumption and improve long-term return on investment. Whether your priority is dependable performance, maximum energy savings or future-ready technology, Electromote offers an efficiency class to suit your application.

Multi Voltage

The HM Series is available in 400V, 550V, 690V and 1000V configurations, allowing the motor to integrate seamlessly into a wide range of industrial power networks without compromising performance or reliability.

VPI.png

Vacuum Pressure Impregnation (VPI)

A motor's windings are constantly exposed to vibration, heat, moisture and contaminants. Electromote motors use Vacuum Pressure Impregnation (VPI) to completely seal and protect the stator windings.

Unlike conventional dip varnishing, VPI ensures complete resin penetration throughout the winding, creating a stronger and more durable insulation system.

Fully Processed Lamination Steel (FPLS)

The magnetic core is the heart of every electric motor. Electromote motors are manufactured using Fully Processed Lamination Steel, a premium electrical steel specifically designed to reduce magnetic losses and improve overall motor efficiency.

The result is lower operating temperatures, improved efficiency and reduced energy consumption throughout the motor's lifetime.

The Right Speed Starts with the Right Pole Configuration.

Every industrial application operates differently. Some require high-speed performance, while others rely on slower, high-torque operation.

A motor's pole configuration determines its operating speed, making it one of the most important factors when selecting the right motor.

Choosing the correct number of poles helps maximise efficiency, improve equipment performance and ensure the motor is perfectly matched to its application. The number of poles inside an electric motor directly affects its rotational speed. The HM Series is offered with 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 pole options.

  • Fewer poles = Higher speed

  • More poles = Lower speed, higher torque

Speed Isn't Everything.

The fastest motor isn't always the best choice.

Selecting the correct pole configuration ensures your equipment operates at the intended speed while delivering the torque required by the application. This improves efficiency, reduces wear on mechanical components and helps maximise motor life.

Mounting Options

The HM Series is available in a range of industry-standard mounting configurations, allowing the motor to integrate seamlessly into new installations or replace existing equipment with minimal modification.

Whether your application requires a foot-mounted motor for a base installation, a flange-mounted motor for direct equipment coupling, or a combination foot-and-flange configuration, the HM Series provides the flexibility to suit your system.
